2nd Annual Partnership Appreciation Holiday Charity Social

December 16, 2020 | Virtual

2020 was a remarkable year, and while we couldn’t mingle in person, we were pleased that hosting the happy hour virtually enabled more of our partnership members, who are spread out across the country, to join us. Karen Rainey, President of FEW, spoke on behalf of the organization.

For our charity selection for 2020, we encouraged our partnership members to donate to their local food banks to support those in need in their own communities.

FEW Virtual Leadership Summit

July 20-24, 2020

For the sixth consecutive year, Management Concepts was proud to be an Emerald Sponsor of the Federally Employed Women (FEW) National Training Program (NTP), which was the first time the FEW Leadership Summit was virtual.

As in past years, our Two-Day Leadership Course was a resounding success. Limited to a small group, attendees participated in in-depth discussions and collaborative activities related to topics such as “Building Relationships Through Collaboration,” “Cultivating Motivation and Engagement,” “Managing Change,” and “Mentoring.” These 4-hour modules were selected from the Management Concepts Professional Government Supervisor Program, which features over 30 modules that are aligned to the Office of Personnel Management’s Supervisory Training Framework and Senior Executive Service (SES) Executive Core Qualifications (ECQ).

Management Concepts was also asked to present a session on our new acquisition and contracting course “Procurement Innovation – FAR Flexibility” enumerating flexibilities in the Federal Acquisition Regulations and providing practical tools for participants to apply them. 1st Annual Partnership Appreciation Holiday Charity Social

December 12, 2019

Management Concepts was pleased to recognize the hard work and dedication of partner organizations, such as FEW, by hosting our first-ever partnership appreciation event. All members of our partner organizations were invited to attend and enjoy an evening of refreshments, networking, and festivities while supporting a good cause. This year we selected So Others Might Eat (SOME) to raise money and collect much-needed non-perishable food and toiletry items to fight homelessness and poverty. FEW displayed marketing materials at a dedicated tabletop during the event and FEW National President Karen Rainey spoke on behalf of FEW.
